January 2009 Acupuncture Distance Program
(Atlantic Canada)
It is well know that treatment of
diseases with natural ways is more and more popular in modern time. More
and more Western people recognize and accept acupuncture and traditional
Chinese medicine (TCM), and more and more people choose to study
acupuncture and TCM.
To meet with your need, Oshio College
of Acupuncture and Herbology (OCAH) (www.oshio.ca)
offers you 3-year distance education acupuncture program in the Atlantic
Canada from January, 2009. The 3 years Acupuncture program (distance
Education) offered by OCAN is recognized by Acupuncture and
Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of Nova Scotia (www.ATCMANS.CA) and
the national association the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association
of Canada( Nova Scotia Chapter). All students completing the
program successfully will be accepted into both associations. This
will be very helpful for your future practice after graduating from the
program.
We have two training stations in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and you can get clinical
practice and onsite assistance at these two stations in your local areas.
The two stations ------ the S-T Natural Medicine and Acupuncture Centre,
located in Bedford, NS
(www.acupuncture-ns.com), and the Natural Healing Centre, located at St. John’s, NL (www.naturalhealingcenter.ca),
both are the largest and earliest Acupuncture clinics in the areas.
We are ready to have another two
training stations in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island
if there are 20 students or more on each province.
Established in 1999, OCAH has been
registered with and accredited by the Private Career Training Institutions
Agency of British Columbia (PCTIA), and recognized by the College of Traditional
Chinese Medicine Practitioner and
Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA). Our Acupuncture Distance
Education Program has been registered with PCTIA, and allowed to offer to
qualified students all over Canada
and world. You will be able to find it on the website www.pctia.bc.ca.
