Upcoming Seminars

BC TCM Federation United Colleges

Congratulations to the following two TCM colleges in British Columbia who have united to form a "sister-school" alliance to promote and facilitate student, faculty, and professional exchange:

Oshio College of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine
campus in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
Tel:                250-472-6601             |     e-mail: oshio@shaw.ca

Canadian College of Oriental Medicine
campuses in Vancouver and Prince George, British Columbia, Canada
Tel:      604-581-8659     |     e-mail: cacomca@cacom.ca

The alliance ratifies the principles of "united recruitment, faculty exchange, credit recognition, and student job sponsorship." Under these principles, the colleges further ensure students' benefits and standardize the Traditional Chinese Medicine career. This alliance formation will "establish Traditional Chinese Medicine education standards, improve Traditional Chinese Medicine ethnics, and promote the developments of Traditional Chinese Medicine," and establish a new page in Canadian Traditional Chinese Medicine history.

Relationship with other schools

The director of Canadian Institute of TCM, Calgary, Alberta, Dr. Xia Cheng visited our college on October 2, 2008. Dr. Chen and our principal Dr. Yin are schoolmates (during 1978 to 1982 in Hunan University of TCM, Changsha, China), and once worked together. During the visiting, Dr. Chen exchanged ideas of TCM education and school management.
